QUALIFICATIONS:          

1. High school diploma or higher

2. Self-motivated and adept at problem solving and critical thinking.

3. Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, and interact effectively with all aspects of the school community is required.

4. Ability to solve conflicts, maintain confidentiality and remain open to various ideas and viewpoints.

5. Successfully completes required criminal history check, physical, drug screen and proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status.

6. Must be 21 years of age or older

REPORTS TO:                     Building Principal(s)

JOB GOAL:                          The goal of the supervisor is to oversee childcare for elementary students after school hours. 

PERFORMANCE RESPNSIBILITIES:

1. Works under the direct supervision of the administrator(s) to assist individual students with activities as required.
2. Assists the Administrator with record-keeping duties.
3. Assists the Administrator in implementing all policies and/or rules governing student life, behavior, and conduct.
4. Establish and maintain appropriate and cooperative working relationships with the classroom teacher, the building administrators, staff members, students, parents, and patrons.
5. Maintain confidentiality of all school-related matters.
6. Perform all other duties as dictated by law and/or assigned by a supervisor/Administrator.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:   Salary and work year is to be established by the Board of Education.

EVALUATION:  Performance of this job will be completed by the building principal(s) on an annual basis.
